“Best sister, best friend”: Karisma Kapoor’s adorable post for Kareena

Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrated her birthday on Sunday, and the day was filled with warm wishes, family love, and excitement for her upcoming projects. The actress received a particularly sweet message from her elder sister, Karisma Kapoor.

Kareena, daughter of legendary actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, made her Bollywood debut in 2000 with ‘Refugee’. Over the years, she has delivered memorable performances in films like ‘Jab We Met’, ‘3 Idiots’, and ‘Tanu Weds Manu’.

Amidst the birthday cheer, Kareena also shared exciting updates about her next film. She will star alongside acclaimed actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming project ‘Daayra’. The film was officially announced in April after a brief meeting between the cast and crew.

Kareena expressed her enthusiasm on Instagram, saying, “I’ve always said that I’m a director’s actor, and this time I cannot wait to work with one of the finest directors we have, @meghnagulzar, and alongside the magnificent @therealprithvi, whose work I deeply admire. To my dream team, #Daayra ❤️ let’s do this.”

In a press statement, she added, “As I celebrate 25 incredible years in Hindi cinema, I’m thrilled to announce my next film, Daayra, with the incredible Meghna Gulzar in the director’s chair. I’ve long admired her work, from Talvar to Raazi. And to work with her is surreal. Collaborating with the talented Prithviraj is another highlight.”
