Atlanta police have arrested a man in connection with a high-profile car theft involving stolen items linked to Beyonce. The suspect, identified as Kelvin Evans, was taken into custody on August 26. He faces one count of entering a vehicle with the intent to commit theft or another felony, according to People magazine.
The case dates back to July 8, when several items were reportedly stolen from the Jeep Wagoneer of choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue. The car was parked in a garage at the Ayla apartment complex, just before Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter” tour performance in Atlanta.

Among the stolen items were hard drives containing sensitive materials related to the pop star.
Police reports indicate that the hard drives held watermarked music, unreleased tracks, footage plans for the tour, and both past and future set lists. Alongside the hard drives, the thieves reportedly took laptops, two suitcases, designer sunglasses, clothing, and a pair of AirPods Max. Investigators told CNN that the hard drives have not yet been recovered.
Evans is now being held at Fulton County Jail on a USD 20,000 bond. Jail records reveal a long history of arrests dating back to 2002. This includes charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, and previous incidents involving vehicle theft.
The theft has raised concerns among Beyonce’s team about the potential leak of unreleased music and tour plans. Grant and Blue, who work closely with the superstar, were the immediate victims. But the implications of the missing hard drives could extend to the singer’s broader team and upcoming performances.
