A speeding car fell off the Mukarba Chowk flyover in Delhi on Sunday and landed on a railway track near the Haiderpur metro station in the northern part of the city.
The driver, 35-year-old Sachin Chaudhary, a resident of Pratap Vihar Railway Colony in Ghaziabad, sustained minor abrasions on his shoulder and face.

According to officials, no serious injuries were reported in the incident, which falls under the jurisdiction of Samaypur Badli police station.

Police stated that the sedan overturned and landed upside down on the railway tracks beneath the Ring Road.
A senior officer said, “Rail traffic was disrupted for at least an hour as authorities worked to remove the vehicle.”
Chaudhary told the police that he was driving from Peera Garhi to Ghaziabad when he lost control of the vehicle while crossing the flyover section above the railway tracks.
“The car hit the side pavement, broke through the railing, and toppled over, landing on the railway tracks after sliding down a grassy slope,” the officer added.
The officer further said, “He is currently undergoing a medical examination, and no other injuries were reported in the incident.”
During the response, officers also found a blue motorcycle abandoned at the scene. The motorcycle had reportedly been lying there since the previous day and was not linked to the crash.
Police confirmed that no previous accidents or complaints had been reported regarding the motorcycle. Investigations are underway to identify the owner and determine whether it was stolen or simply abandoned.
Authorities emphasized that the motorcycle and the car crash were unrelated incidents. Further investigation is in progress.
