The newsletter also highlights Gandhi’s ‘Vote Adhikaar Yatra’ in Bihar, where he was joined by allies from the INDIA bloc, including Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav. This yatra aims to raise awareness about alleged voter list manipulation and encourage citizens to protect their voting rights.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has also questioned the ECI’s impartiality, citing a probe into voter fraud in Karnataka’s Aland Constituency. Kharge alleges that the ECI is withholding crucial details in the investigation, which suggests a massive attempt at voter fraud.
The controversy dates back to the 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections, where the Congress exposed a significant deletion of voters in the Aland constituency. A probe revealed 5,994 forged applications, leading to a CID investigation. Kharge’s allegations imply that the ECI’s actions may be protecting those responsible for voter fraud.
