Inspector dead, 2 cops missing in MP car mishap

A Police Inspector died and two other cops were missing after a car they were travelling in on duty for a case, plunged into the swelling Kshipra river in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh.

During the rescue operation, the body of Unhel Police Station House Officer Inspector Ashok Sharma was recovered on Sunday.

However, Lady Constable Aarti Pal, and Sub-Inspector Madanlal were missing.

Late Saturday, all three were travelling in the car and were coming to Unhel from Ujjain, after investigating a case.
