Felicitating the chief guest on the occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath quoted Acharya Chanakya: “If a nation is safe externally but not internally, it is considered a chaotic nation. Such a chaotic nation is on the verge of ending soon”.

He said Pakistan is an example of such a chaotic nation. It has become completely hollow due to internal chaos. He said that chaos leads any nation to misery. Misery leads to a crisis of existence. India has been alert about this since ancient times.

The Chief Minister said that since the Vedic period, it has been taught in India that the earth is our mother. No worthy son can tolerate anarchy with his mother. If anyone dares to harm the honour, prestige, and dignity of Mother India, then every Indian will stand against him.

CM Yogi described Lord Shri Ram’s resolution of ‘Nisichar Heen Karahun Mahi…’ for the destruction of miscreants during the Ramayana period as the foundation stone of Ramrajya. In this context, he referred to Lord Krishna’s proclamation of ‘Paritranaay Sadhunaam Vinaashaya Cha Dushkritam’, saying that protecting citizens and destroying the wicked is essential for the nation’s security.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Panch Pran to achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that it also includes the resolve to instil a sense of respect for Army personnel. He added that citizens can sleep peacefully because our soldiers remain vigilant on the frontlines even in minus-50 degree temperatures. It is a matter of pride for Indians that the Indian Army is one of the best armies in the world. The Chief Minister said that in the present times, the ways of war have changed. “Even in the changed circumstances, our Army has made the enemy realise its limitations,” he remarked.

Paying homage to the holy memory of late Mahants of Gorakshapeeth, Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj and Avedyanath Ji Maharaj, Chief Minister and Gorakshapeethadhiswar Yogi Adityanath said that along with spiritual practice, the entire life of the late Mahants remained dedicated to the nation. Instead of being bound by religious narrowness, the Mahants participated enthusiastically in every call made for India and Indianness.

Organising this seminar on national topics in memory of both Mahants is an opportunity to express pride and gratitude towards the Guru tradition.

During the seminar, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remembered the country’s second President, Sarvepalli Dr. Radhakrishnan, on his birth anniversary and congratulated all the teachers on Teachers’ Day, celebrated on this occasion. The CM said that Dr. Radhakrishnan was a philosophical teacher who presented the issues of society in a philosophical manner to the nation and the world.
