INDIA alliance leaders are spent cartridges: Rajbhar

Taking a dig at opposition Congress-SP combine, SBSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar on Monday said Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav are spent cartridges, and that their ‘Voter Adhikaar Yatra’ will not make any difference.

“Akhilesh Yadav is not able to win in UP, how will he win Bihar? Rahul Gandhi and Tejaswi’s ‘Voter Rights Yatra’ in Bihar will not achieve anything. These people are spent cartridges and nothing is going to happen from them,” he said.

Rajbhar while talking to media persons here said,” The Congress first committed vote theft for Pandit Nehru Congress when Nehru got just one vote while his opponent got 11 votes to become the first PM of the country. Then the second time it was done to defeat Baba Saheb Ambedkar. In 1952, Baba Saheb contested elections from Maharashtra, then Congress defeated him by stealing 78,000 votes. Baba Saheb had also given an affidavit of this to the Election Commission.”

The SBSP chief said the third theft committed by Congress was in Varanasi where the ballot box was thrown into the Ganga. When fishermen cast their net to catch fish, they caught the ballot box instead of the fish. ”

Later, investigation revealed that there was no Congress vote in it. This matter was suppressed because there was a Congress government. The Congress party is an expert in the matter of vote theft,” he alleged.

He said after losing Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi and Maharashtra, Congress is now going to lose Bihar.

“That is why these people are making noise about this, so that after losing, these people can say in their defence that BJP stole the votes, that is why we lost the election.The NDA alliance will win in Bihar,” he claimed.

“The opposition in Bihar is working to help the NDA to form the government. The kind of statements being made from the platforms at this time are condemnable. They are a threat to democracy because the people who have gathered here are all spent cartridges,” he added.

Rajbhar said Congress ruled for 60 years but they betrayed the backward, Dalits and Muslims. “Till yesterday, the same Lalu and Tejaswi used to shout that Congress has implicated Lalu Prasad Yadav in the fodder scam. They used to abuse people. Today, the same Tejaswi and Lalu are riding on the chariot of Congress,” he said.

Rajbhar also held a divisional review meeting of SBSP in Gorakhpur asking SBSP workers to strengthen the party by working at the grassroots level.

Hinting that there may be a change in reservation for coming Panchayat elections in UP this time, he said, “Our effort is that the District Panchayat President and Block Pramukh should be elected directly by the public. For this, we have talked to the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister twice. Work is going on in a positive direction and we have also received assurance from them”.

On the statement of Dr. Sanjay Nishad on breaking alliance, Rajbhar said that there are some small leaders who are upset with the increasing popularity of Dr. Sanjay Nishad.
