Festivals have a way of bringing warmth to our lives. This Ganesh Chaturthi was no different, and Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan joined millions across the country in welcoming Lord Ganesha with love and devotion.
On Wednesday, Kareena took to Instagram to share her wishes. She posted a beautiful picture of an idol of Lord Ganesha, decorated with flowers.

Along with it, she wrote, “Celebrations are always brighter with Bappa’s blessings. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi.”
Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, who is worshipped as the remover of obstacles and the bringer of wisdom and prosperity. The festival is celebrated with grandeur across India.
Families bring home Ganesha idols, while communities install giant murtis on pandals, decorated with lights, flowers, and themes ranging from mythological tales to social messages.
For many, the festival is about prayer, joy, and togetherness.
Kareena has always been vocal about the special moments in her life. Just a few days ago, on August 16, she turned storyteller once again, but this time for a personal reason. It was Saif Ali Khan’s 55th birthday, and Kareena made sure the day felt special.
On her Instagram stories, she shared the picture of a lion and captioned it: “To our Lion… Happy birthday, darling husband… SAKP.”
Kareena and Saif’s love story itself has often been in the spotlight. The two tied the knot in 2012 in a private ceremony in Bandra, Mumbai. Their relationship has since grown into a strong partnership, with their two sons, born in 2016 and 2021, making them a happy family of four.
Professionally, Kareena was last seen in ‘Singham Again’ (2024), directed by Rohit Shetty. The action-packed film is the fifth part of Shetty’s popular cop universe and features Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty, and Kareena herself in important roles.
The movie brought back the thrill of Shetty’s signature style, blending drama, high-octane stunts, and emotional storytelling.
