Sloth bears maul two farmers in Rajasthan’s Udaipur district
Two farmers were mauled by sloth bears in two separate incidents in Sayara range of the Gogunda sub division of the district.
The car with five youths was taking a U-turn on the Kherwara-Udaipur road last evening. However, the driver lost control and the vehicle skidded off into the swollen rivulet, the police sources said here on Wednesday.

As many as three youths were killed when the car they were travelling in skidded off into the Bayadi rivulet in the Kherwara sub-division of Udaipur district late Monday evening.

Two of the five occupants of the ill-fated car somehow managed to exit and swam to safety; the remaining three drowned.

The police and SDRF teams extricated the bodies of two deceased last night, and the body of the remaining one was recovered this morning, the sources said.
The bodies were sent to the Kherwara Hospital for postmortem, they said.
