I congratulate him on behalf of the people of Uttar Pradesh. We all know that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has made unprecedented progress but along with this, there has been a lot of progress in space as well. We all know that Shubhanshu stayed in space for 18 days and did 7 different experiments, which will guide the coming generation.”

In his address, Shubhanshu said since he came to Lucknow this morning, he must have taken 2000 selfies. Today he understood why people say, “Muskyriya aap Lucknow me hai”. “The excitement I saw about space this time has convinced me that in times to come, people will talk about ISRO and not NASA. Today, when I came to Lucknow, I was welcomed with open heart, thank you very much for that.”

He said under the mission, he had to stay in the international space for 18 days. During these 18 days, there were many experiments done by Indian scientists. The experiments were prepared by our own scientists. He was doing experiments in space. Our team was sitting here and watching. This is the first time in history that Indian scientists could sit and do experiments.

He said that when they were in space for 18 days, there was interaction with the prime minister and children as well. While he was in space, the children asked him how they can become astronauts, then he felt that even before my return, the children have already been inspired by space.

He said that the environment there is such that there is no air. When they launch the first mission, they will be the fourth country in the world which will have its own technology. The enthusiasm that has arisen on his arrival, they should maintain it. We can use it as a tool like a nation building.
