The session was conducted by Sandip Bal and Sonali Priyadarsini. Participants included renowned historian and author Anil Dhir, along with youngsters Akankshita, Anwesha, Pratiksha, Chanchal, Mitra, and Swatiswarupa.

Speakers reflected on the different dimensions of independence, with some focusing on the state of personal freedom in contemporary society, while others highlighted the importance of collective rights.

Launched in August 2023 by All Things Odisha, Odisha Manaska serves as a physical platform for dialogue on issues concerning Odisha and identity, fostering collective wisdom through the exchange of ideas, views, and lived experiences.
