“The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) should resign and if he does not resign, he will be respectfully admitted to a mental asylum. Impeachment should be initiated against him. He should apologize to (Congress leader) Rahul Gandhi and the country,” he demanded.

Assistant Police Commissioner Akshay Sanjay Mahadik said that police was already deployed outside the residence of CEC. Congress workers came and left after giving a memorandum, he said.
