Kirti Azad takes a dig at Shah, PM Modi
In a sharp attack on Union home minister Amit Shah, the sitting MP from Burdwan-Durgapur and former cricketer Kirti Jha Azad compared him to a “frog in the monsoon”.
Dr Yadav noted that the pilgrims will also have the fortune of taking bath in the Ganga and having darshan of Lord Vishwanath, along with visiting the birthplaces of Saint Ravidas and Kabir Das.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on Wednesday that in the Sanatan culture, pilgrimage has special importance, as it paves the way for attaining salvation, and the pilgrimage sites are also a medium to keep the country united along with religious faith.
The CM made the remarks while virtually flagging off from the CM House in Bhopal the train taking pilgrims from Ujjain to Ayodhya under the ‘Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana’. He said that the pilgrims departing from the city of Baba Mahakal, Ujjain, to earn virtue in the city of Baba Vishwanath, Varanasi, deserve congratulations.

Dr Yadav noted that the pilgrims will also have the fortune of taking bath in the Ganga and having darshan of Lord Vishwanath, along with visiting the birthplaces of Saint Ravidas and Kabir Das.

The Chief Minister said that ”The grandeur Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given to the abode of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya is a matter of pride for all of us”. He also addressed the pilgrims from Ujjain and Agar-Malwa present at Ujjain Railway Station.
The CM said that it is a matter of good fortune that senior citizens of the state are getting the sacred opportunity of pilgrimage through the Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana. Since its beginning in 2018, the annual budget of the Teerth Darshan Yojana has been more than Rs 50 crore. In the Teerth Darshan Yojana, arrangements have also been made for pilgrimage through air travel. With the cooperation of the tourism department, the Teerth Darshan Yojana will be further expanded.
The CM asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, moving ahead on the path from heritage to development, the state government will remain dedicated to the welfare of all sections of society, including senior citizens.
Chief Minister Yadav extended wishes for a successful and pleasant journey to all the pilgrims going on the pilgrimage.
