The case surfaced when the 21-year-old woman’s brother lodged a complaint at Kotwali Dehat police station, alleging she was abducted while returning home from her maternal uncle’s house and raped at a secluded location.

An FIR was filed on Monday, and investigators inspected the route taken by the victim, collected evidence, and analysed CCTV footage to quickly track down the suspects.

Additional SP Vishal Pandey confirmed the crime scene was examined immediately, and the survivor was sent for medical examination. The woman is currently receiving medical care as legal proceedings continue.
