A 34-year-old Bangladeshi immigrant, who was found to be engaged in begging during the day and paraphilic sexual activities at night, was arrested by the Delhi Police on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Mohommad Milon Mia, alias Kumkum Roy, was residing illegally in the city’s Jahangirpuri, they said.

Amit Goel, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northwest), in his statement said, “Our team intercepted the accused while they were on a routine patrol on July 18, after which they conducted a thorough investigation.”
“While probing the case, digital surveillance, along with verification of photographic evidence, revealed that he had links in Bangladesh,” DCP Goel mentioned.
During investigation, the team also found that he had acquired an Indian Voter ID card through fraudulent means, which was subsequently cancelled.
After sustained questioning, he admitted to being a native of Bangladesh. Later, one smartphone was confiscated from his possession that had an IMO app installed along with a Bangladeshi National ID in his phone gallery.
The officer further stated that the accused had undergone Gender-Affirming Surgery (GAS) and used makeup, sarees, and other feminine accessories to disguise himself.
His deportation proceedings have been initiated in coordination with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).
Moreover, a case has been filed under the relevant sections of the BNS, and further inquiry into this case is ongoing.
