Two killed, three injured in stampede at Kubreshwar Dham in MP

Two devotees were killed and three others injured in a stampede at Hindu religious preacher Pandit Pradip Mishra’s Kubereshwar Dham in the Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, the incident took place when a large number of devotees thronged the Kubreshwar Dham to take part in kanwar yatra, scheduled to be taken out on Wednesday.

According to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sunita Rawat, efforts were on to identify the two persons who died on the spot.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, said an official.
