Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Monday said that whether it is procedural arrangements or the bill presented in the House, all aspects have made the beginning of the monsoon session of the eighth Delhi Assembly a historic one.
The Delhi BJP chief stated that on the very first day of the monsoon session, the Gupta government introduced the Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees) Bill, 2025, aimed at providing relief to parents from middle- and lower-income groups by enacting a law to regulate school fees.

Expressing pride, Sachdeva said that inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, through their dedicated efforts, have transformed the legislature into the country’s first solar-powered legislative assembly, and that too in a very short span—from February 20 to August 4.
He mentioned that along with this achievement, a digital system was implemented from Monday, making the Assembly paperless and thereby enhancing transparency and strengthening the democratic process.
Sachdeva said that in just five months, by converting the Assembly into a solar-powered and paperless setup, the BJP has proven that Prime Minister Modi’s vision is one of genuine transformation.
Challenging the opposition, Sachdeva said that if the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress are questioning the education bill, they must explain why, despite long-standing demands from middle- and lower-income groups, their governments failed to implement any legal framework for school fee regulation over the past 27 years.
