Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions on illegal use of drones and announced that the Gangster Act will be applied to those who spread terror through drones, besides, if required, the National Security Act will also be applied.
The CM said there should be a complete ban on drone operation without permission, and if someone violates the rule, strict action should be taken against the culprits.

“Attempts to spread rumors or create fear will not be tolerated at any cost,” he told the senior police and district officials during a meeting here on Sunday.

The CM also instructed the Principal Secretary Home and the Director General of Police to review drone activities in every district and take action.
“There should be strictness on misuse of drones and the authorities should have a strict monitoring system,” he added.
The CM asked the officials to ensure regular patrolling in districts to take care of security and maintain trust among the general public.
