Cultural association at Khurda Road Division revived for creative recreation

In a step towards promoting cultural engagement and creative recreation among railway employees and their families, the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway revived its Divisional Cultural Association.

A fully furnished practice room equipped with top-notch musical instruments was unveiled. This dedicated space aims to provide a platform for employees and their wards to pursue their musical and artistic interests during their leisure hours.

The Divisional Cultural Association emphasizes the importance of cultural activities in enhancing the overall well-being of employees and fostering a sense of community.

They also appreciated the initiative and encouraged employees and their families to actively participate and make full use of the facility.

The Divisional Cultural Association is set to become a vibrant hub for nurturing talent and strengthening bonds among the railway fraternity through music, arts, and cultural expression.

The association will be led by President Subhrojyoti Mandal, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infra), with R. N. A. Parida, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, serving as Executive Secretary. Other office bearers include Javed Khan, Senior Divisional Material Manager, as Secretary; Upadhyaya Satya Kumar R, Divisional Finance Manager, as Finance Secretary; and Tapaswini Mahanandia, Assistant Personnel Officer, as Assistant Secretary.

The event featured a welcome speech by Executive Secretary in Charge Pramod Kumar Behera and concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Assistant Secretary Ms. Tapaswini Mahanandia.
