The voice cast is star-studded. Names include Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint, and Anika Noni Rose.

The trailer, which dropped on Disney+’s official Instagram on Monday, gives a sneak peek into this high-stakes mission across time and continents.

This is also a big moment for Marvel Studios and Ryan Coogler’s company, Proximity Media. ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ is just the beginning of a long-term partnership between Coogler and Disney. More shows set in the Marvel universe are already in the works.

Director Todd Harris is the creative force behind ‘Eyes of Wakanda’. He started out as a storyboard artist for the original ‘Black Panther’ and its sequel, ‘Wakanda Forever’. Now, he has stepped up to lead this series, bringing years of experience and a deep love for the characters and culture of Wakanda.

The last time audiences visited Wakanda was in 2022’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, which paid tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman. ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ takes the legacy forward in a fresh, exciting direction.

The series will premiere soon on Disney+, so keep your eyes open. Wakanda’s warriors are ready to rise again.
