Actress Ameesha Patel recently took her fans on a nostalgic trip by posting a throwback picture from the year 2002. The photo features her with co-stars Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna during the London press conference for their hit film ‘Humraaz’.
In the picture, Ameesha and Akshaye are wearing matching yellow outfits, while Bobby Deol looks stylish as ever in a denim jacket. Sharing the image on social media, she captioned it, “Throwback SUNDAY — a cute picture of Bobby Deol n Akshay Khanna — our press conference in LONDON before the premiere of our film ‘HUMRAAZ’ — grand premiere in LONDONS PICCADILLY CIRCUS theatres.”

‘Humraaz’, directed by the popular duo Abbas-Mustan, hit theatres on July 5, 2002. The film was reportedly inspired by the 1998 Hollywood movie ‘A Perfect Murder’, which itself was based on Alfred Hitchcock’s classic ‘Dial M for Murder’.
It was a production of Ganesh Jain, Ratan Jain, and Champak Jain. The movie was a major success and ended up becoming the seventh-highest-grossing Hindi film of that year.
While the throwback stirred some memories, Ameesha also took time to respond to fans during an #AskAmeesha session on Twitter. One fan asked her if she had watched the new film ‘Saiyaara’, which stars Ahaan Panday, and about the comparisons between Ahaan and her ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ co-star Hrithik Roshan.
Ameesha replied honestly, saying she hadn’t seen ‘Saiyaara’ yet but had good wishes for Ahaan. She tweeted, “I haven’t seen the film but I wish them luck. Ahaan as per is v promising actor .. but baap tho baap hai and beta tho beta hi hoga. Dugu is a WAR ahead from most of the stars.”
