Apollo hospital in a bulletin said, “The chief minister is fit for discharge after successfully recovering from the therapeutic procedure done by the expert team.”
He has been advised to resume his normal duties, it added.
On Thursday, the chief minister underwent a successful cardiac therapeutic procedure to correct irregular variations in his heart rate, which was identified as the reason for his giddiness. A diagnostic angiogram was also carried out, the hospital said.
On reaching home, Stalin thanked all those who inquired about his health and the doctors who attended on him. “Returned home from hospital in good health. My heartfelt thanks to those who wished me speedy recovery with concern – from leaders of political parties to people’s representatives, judges, film personalities and the party cadre. My sincere thanks to the doctors who gave special care and the nurses and others,” he wrote on X.
The very next day after his hospitalisation, Stalin continued to carry out his official duties from the hospital, turning his suite into his camp office with officials in attendance. He shared on social media pictures of his interaction with beneficiaries of government schemes and with party functionaries.
