According to the Delhi Assembly Secretariat, the three-day National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) training programme for MLAs concluded on Wednesday, with enthusiastic participation from ministers Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Pankaj Kumar Singh, and Ravinder Indraj Singh, in the presence of Speaker Vijender Gupta.

Notably, the advanced training session was completed within just three days. From the monsoon session onwards, the legislature will function entirely through the NeVA digital platform, marking a significant step forward in technological adoption.
The active involvement of ministers and MLAs highlighted a strong commitment to ensuring a smooth transition to a fully digital legislative process.
Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht also attended the event. Legislators were provided with smartphones equipped with the NeVA application to ensure easy and efficient access to legislative tools and resources.
Commending the initiative, Sirsa stated, “Under the guidance of Speaker Vijender Gupta, the Delhi Legislative Assembly has achieved a fully paperless legislative system within just 100 days.
This remarkable accomplishment sets a new benchmark, making Delhi the fastest state legislature in the country to complete such a comprehensive digital transition.”
He added that the development reflects a strong vision and unwavering commitment to modern governance.
Speaker Gupta said the completion of the NeVA training marks a major milestone in the Assembly’s journey towards a paperless and technology-driven legislative framework.
He further announced that the training centre would remain open in the coming weeks, allowing legislators to seek additional guidance or clarification on the platform’s features ahead of the monsoon session.
