Monsoon session of UP assembly to begin on August 11

The monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh legislature will commence on August 11.

The decision was taken in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here on Tuesday.

During the session that is expected to be brief, of about a week, the BJP government is expected to bring the first supplementary budget during the session.

The last sitting of both houses of the legislature was held on March 5 when the annual budget was approved.
