Actress Soha Ali Khan recently shared her thoughts on fear, and her answer might surprise you. While many people worry about ghosts and spirits, Soha says she’s much more afraid of real-life dangers.

In an interview during the promotions of her latest horror film ‘Chhorii 2’, Soha opened up about her personal fears. She admitted that she has never seen or felt anything supernatural, and she prefers to keep it that way.

“I don’t even want to know if these things exist,” Soha said with a laugh. “I haven’t seen anything spooky, and honestly, I don’t want to. There are so many things in this world that are beyond my understanding. Some people like to explore those things. Vishal sir, for example, is very curious about the unknown. But I’m not like that. I get scared very easily.”

Even though she stars in a horror film, Soha Ali Khan said she is actually more frightened by the real world.

“What really scares me are people. Because I know there are human beings who can do terrible things. I’ve seen that in real life, and that’s what worries me the most,” she said.

Soha also shared a very personal fear, something that keeps her up at night. The ‘Rang De Basanti’ actress said her biggest fear is losing her loved ones or dying an unnatural, sudden death.

“I really love being alive. I’m happy, and I enjoy spending time with the people I love. The thought of suddenly losing them, or them losing me, is something that scares me a lot,” she explained.

She added that death is one of life’s unavoidable realities, but it’s the suddenness of it that troubles her.

“I’m not scared of dying because I know that happens to everyone eventually. But I fear not being able to communicate with the people I love once life is over. I’ve already lost people who were very close to me, and that pain never really leaves you.”

‘Chhorii 2’, which stars Nushrratt Bharuccha alongside Soha, also features actors Gashmeer Mahajani, Saurabh Goyal, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Sareen, and Hardika Sharma. The film hit cinemas worldwide on April 11, 2025.
