Ahaan Panday recalls his early days fixing Shraddha Kapoor’s piano on ‘Rock On 2’

Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’, which stars newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, hit theatres on July 18 and has been doing really well at the box office. But for Ahaan Panday, one of the biggest highlights is the praise from actor Shraddha Kapoor.

Shraddha, who shares a close bond with the film’s team, recently posted about ‘Saiyaara’ on her Instagram Stories. She shared a video of herself clapping, cheering, and hooting inside a theatre while watching the film.

Along with the video, she wrote, “Saiyaara se Aashiqui ho gayi hai mujhe,” which means, “I’ve fallen in love with ‘Saiyaara’.”

This moment was extra special for Ahaan Panday because he has known Shraddha Kapoor from the time he worked behind the scenes on ‘Rock On 2’. Back then, he was just starting out in the film industry, helping out on sets and even fixing Shraddha’s piano during shoots.

Reacting to her recent support, Ahaan shared her story on his own Instagram account on Tuesday. He added a heartfelt message along with it.

He wrote, “Working under you on ‘Rock On 2’, being assigned to fix your piano, the serendipity of assisting on a rock music film, to getting to be a part of one… I remember you taking out the time to speak to me for a few seconds, and your words weighing heavy on me.”

He continued, “You made me feel seen at a time when very few did, in such a small, short conversation. And that’s why you’re magic. Maybe a little glimmer of that magic spilled onto me, and that’s why the universe allowed me to have this moment.”

‘Saiyaara’ tells the story of Krish Kapoor, an aspiring musician, and Vaani Batra, a shy journalist. The film follows their emotional journey as they navigate love, ambition, and life’s unexpected challenges.

Ahaan Panday plays Krish, while Aneet Padda plays Vaani. The chemistry between the two leads has received a lot of attention, and the film’s music is already a hit with fans.
