Bad weather forces Rahul to cancel Almora rally, return to Delhi
Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's Almora rally was cancelled on Thursday owing to bad weather conditions in the Kumaon region.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday joined a protest in Parliament premises with INDIA alliance members, alleging “vote theft” in Bihar under the guise of Special Intensive Revision (SIR). Gandhi emphasised that voting is every citizen’s right and vowed to fight against forces opposing the constitution.
Alleging “vote theft” in Bihar through the SIR process, Gandhi stated they will fight unitedly against forces opposing the Constitution.

Later, taking to platform X, Gandhi questioned the Election Commission, asking if the poll panel has turned into BJP’s “Election Chori Shakha” instead of an impartial body.

Opposition parties have been apprehensive about the poll panel’s drive, saying the initiative will lead to mass disenfranchisement.
