It further came out that Tarun, who was originally from Jammu, had been residing in Old Rajinder Nagar for over a year. He was sharing the second floor of the accommodation with six other UPSC aspirants.

There was a panic when his father could not contact him. He then called the house owner of the accommodation who found Tarun’s body hanging from a bedsheet. He then informed the police about the matter and an inspection was carried out by the officers.

“We found a suicide note from the spot in which Tarun mentioned that he is responsible of his death,” the officer mentioned.

Subsequently, a crime team, along with forensic experts, were called to the scene for further investigation.

Later, Tarun’s brother, Davinder, who resided in Gurugram, was informed about the incident by the officers.

Investigation into this case is ongoing by the cops.
