Haryanvi singer Rahul Yadav, popularly known as Fazilpuria, was allegedly shot at while inside his vehicle by unidentified assailants near Gurugram, Haryana, on Monday.
According to police, multiple rounds were fired at Yadav while he was in his car. The incident occurred on the Southern Peripheral Road in Sector 71 of Gurugram.

As per an eyewitness account, the attackers fled the scene immediately after the shooting. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The police have launched an investigation and are analysing CCTV footage from the area. A crime team, along with the forensic science laboratory department, was called in to collect evidence from the scene.
An FIR has been registered, and the accused have been identified, a police official confirmed.
Sandeep Kumar, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Gurugram Police, stated on Tuesday that the police rushed to the spot upon receiving information about the incident.
“Late last evening, Gurugram Police received information about gunfire on Southern Peripheral Road in Sector 71. Upon reaching the spot, officers discovered a bullet mark,” Kumar said.
He added that a car was recovered from the scene and that the accused has been identified.
“Police have registered an FIR based on the victim’s complaint, and further investigation is underway,” the PRO said.
