Rahul Gandhi to visit Lucknow for court appearence

Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi will visit Lucknow on Tuesday.

This tour is considered important from both political and legal terms.

According to sources, this one day visit of Rahul Gandhi is related to a case involving his remark on Indian Army.

On the past few occasions, he did not appear in the court due to which the plaintiff side had demanded the issuance of non-bailable warrant (NBW). It is now being expected that this time Rahul Gandhi himself may appear in the court.

A senior Congress leader said Rahul Gandhi is expected to appear in the court at 1 pm on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi is also expected to meet the family members of Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla during his visit.
