According to the minister, the area had been facing a drinking water crisis for the past 30 years, which is now being addressed with a permanent solution.

Indraj addressed a Jan Samvad (public dialogue) program in Shakti Nagar, under the Model Town Assembly constituency, where he mentioned that the reduction in waterlogging this year, including at the historically affected Minto Bridge and also the decrease in Delhi’s pollution levels reflect the good governance and committed efforts of the current government.

As per the minister, work is being done swiftly across the city in the sectors of roads, water, and electricity.

The minister highlighted that, for the first time, serious efforts are being made in Delhi for drug de-addiction.

He said a grand event was organized on International Day Against Drug Abuse, and district-level meetings have already been held in two districts.

He assured similar meetings to be organized across all city’s districts in the coming days.

Indraj also informed that efforts are underway to ensure timely disbursal of scholarships for SC/ST/OBC students, along with plans to reopen hostels that had been non-operational for years.

The government is actively working toward fulfilling the vision of prosperity through cooperatives.
