The Chief Minister met with the bereaved family and expressed his heartfelt condolences.

Kunwar Anand Singh, father of Union Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh, passed away in Lucknow on July 6, 2025, at the age of 87. A prominent political and royal figure, he served as a Member of Parliament four times and also held the position of Agriculture Minister in Uttar Pradesh. He was widely respected as the Maharaja of the Mankapur estate.

During the visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recalled Kunwar Anand Singh’s distinguished contributions to public life. He said that Singh’s efforts toward regional development and public welfare during his tenure remain a lasting source of inspiration.
