The Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Thursday paid heartfelt tributes to departed souls, including those who lost their lives in the recent plane crash in Ahmedabad, since the last session of the Assembly.
During the 9th (special) session of the 16th Punjab Vidhan Sabha, the House honoured the memory of Tarn Taran MLA Dr Kashmir Singh Sohal, former Union Minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, eminent writer Dr Rattan Singh Jaggi, Martyr Naik Surinder Singh, Martyr Lance Naik Baljeet Singh, Martyr Lance Naik Gurpreet Singh, Abohar-based businessman Sanjay Verma, and the victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash.
