“The BJP-led Central government should listen to the voices against the labour codes and its anti-worker policies,” the CPI(M) stated in its press statement. “It should immediately rescind the amendments to the labour laws and protect the rights of the working class.”

Workers, farmers, agricultural workers, and other sections of society participated in the general strike, showcasing solidarity and determination.

Police resorted to lathi charges in various places, attempting to intimidate workers from participating in the strike.

The CPI(M) congratulated all the people who stood with the working class, making the general strike a huge success.

The CPI(M) demands that the government immediately rescind the amendments to the labour laws, which it claims are anti-worker.

The party emphasizes the need to protect the rights of the working class, ensuring their dignity and well-being.

The CPI(M)’s statement highlights the party’s commitment to supporting the working class and its struggles against policies that undermine their rights and interests.
