Security guards at Kalyani JNM Hospital protest colleague’s detention
The agitating guards alleged that the police acted without justification and vowed to continue their demonstration until he is released.
A 50-year-old man died after being hit by a JCB while he was crossing the road in south Delhi’s Panchsheel in the early hours of Thursday.
According to police, a PCR call was received at 7 am regarding the accident near the Panchsheel Park Metro Station.

The victim has been identified as Brij Kishore Trivedi, who worked as a security guard, they said, adding that he died on the spot.

“Sandeep, the JCB driver, has been apprehended, and the vehicle has been seized,” a senior police official said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, he added.
