Bomb hoax forces emergency landing of Delhi-Deogarh flight

An Indigo flight from Delhi to Deogarh in Jharkhand went for an emergency landing in Lucknow over a bomb scare on Monday.

The aircraft was towed away to an isolation bay and the matter was investigated. When nothing was found in the investigation, the employees breathed a sigh of relief and then the aircraft was sent to its destination.

Lucknow Airport spokesperson issued a statement saying due to security reasons, the flight landed at Lucknow airport and a thorough investigation was done.

During investigation, the information was found to be a hoax. After this, the aircraft was dispatched. All the passengers are safe.
