Jewellers in Lucknow observed one-day trade shutdown after PM Modi’s appeal
The Lucknow Mahanagar Sarafa Association has called the appeal "unfortunate" and stated that the gold traders had already been witnessing a decline.
On September 22, 2022, the price of 24-carat and 22-carat gold in India somewhat increased and fell. As of Thursday, the price of gold in India is Rs 49,610 for 10 grams of 24-carat gold and Rs 45,440 for 10 grams of 22-carat gold.
