WhatsApp will shut down if forced to break encryption: Company tells Delhi HC
WhatsApp told the court that it has more than 400 million users in India and they use the app largely for its privacy features.
“It may take a while for this to roll out to every Android and iOS device out there using WhatsApp, but it is definitely on the way now.”
The well-known messaging app WhatsApp will soon be letting its users preview their voice messages before sending them.
According to GSM Arena, to use this feature, users will have to press and hold the mic icon, slide up to go into hands-free recording mode, and then tap the stop button and press play to preview the message. As GSM Arena stated, “it may take a while for this to roll out to every Android and iOS device out there using WhatsApp, but it is definitely on the way now.”
