Stock Market ends in the red; Sensex loses 500 points
The Indian stock market ended in the red on Tuesday, with the Nifty falling below the 23,900-mark and the Sensex dropping nearly 500 points.
Mahurat Trading, ended Samvat 2076 with 192.14 points or 0.49 per cent higher at 39,250.20.

Equity market benchmark S&P BSE Sensex on October 27, during the special trading session—Mahurat Trading, ended Samvat 2076 with 192.14 points or 0.49 per cent higher at 39,250.20.

The broader NSE Nifty index settled at 11,627.15, up 43.25 points or 0.37 per cent from its previous close.

Top gainers were Tata Motors, Yes Bank, M&M, Infosys and Vedanta, while drags include Bharti Infratel, Coal India, Titan, Grasim Industries and Maruti Suzuki.
