Anurag Kashyap is in Los Angeles and is spending some family time with his daughter Aaliyah. The filmmaker-producer took to Instagram to share pictures of their lunch dates with Imtiaz Ali’s daughter Ida and Aaliyah’s rumoured boyfriend Chaitra Gangwani.
Anurag captioned the picture, “Poolside breakfast with college going adults @idaali11 @aaliyahkashyap @chaitragangwani #hotelroosevelt #losangeles.”

In another picture, he is seen with his daughter sharing a small hug with a caption that read, “And we met again. Dinner date with @aaliyahkashyap at @figandolive.”

Aaliyah is studying at Chapman University in Southern California along with Ida Ali.
Both friends seem to share a great camaraderie and frequently comment on each other’s pictures on Instagram apart from also posing with each other.
Anurag is in LA for a special ‘The New Wave’ event organized by The Museum of Contemporary Art in Hollywood. He will participate in a conversation about ‘The New Wave of South Asian Cinema’ on Monday.
He recently announced that he will be associated with the Assamese feature Aamis as a presenter. Written and directed by Bhaskar Hazarika, the film is a dark love story and features Lima Das and Arghadeep Barua in the lead, with a supporting cast of Neetali Das, Sagar Saurabh, and Manash K Das.
