Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ teaser: Love story with a pinch of syaapa

Thursday morning (June 28) was exciting for Kapoor clan as much-awaited Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga teaser and poster are finally out.

The film brings real-life father-daughter duo Anil and Sonam on screen for the first time and it also casts Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla.

The 1.15-minute teaser begins with visuals from the iconic song Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga which was composed by legendary RD Burman. And then it highlights the love story of 2018, which is complicated unlike the tale of romance back in 1942.

Sonam Kapoor narrates that a love story will always have complications and if there aren’t bumps in the road, then there is no magic in love story. The teaser is loaded with Punjabi vibes and the shooting has been done in Patiala.

Juhi Chawla and Anil Kapoor will be reuniting after 11 years on the silver screen. The teaser has a few glimpses of Juhi, Anil and Rajkummar dancing.

Sonam Kapoor plays the typical Punjabi girl Sweety Chaudhary and she shared the poster on Twitter, saying: “Sweety Chaudhary: Quiet one | Punjabi | Syaapa”

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga marks the debut for director Shelly Chopra Dhar and the movie will be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani Films, in association with Fox Star Hindi. It is slated to be released on October 12, 2018.
