Shreyas Iyer’s Delhi Daredevils defeated Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians in a thriller by 11 runs on Sunday. The match was played at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi.

2- Delhi Daredevils wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is the only batsman to strike 100 boundaries (fours and sixes) in IPL 2018.
3- In IPL 2018, Rishabh Pant has hit 37 sixes – second-most by an Indian batsman in a single season of the league. The first slot is reserved by RCB skipper Virat Kohli (38 sixes in IPL 2016).
4- In Delhi’s 14 matches, 8 times Rishabh Pant was the top run scorer in the 11th season of IPL – most for any batsman, followed by RCB’s AB de Villiers and KXIP’s KL Rahul (seven each).
5- In IPL 2018, Rishabh Pant scored 684 runs – highest by a wicketkeeper-batsman in a single season. KKR’s Robin Uthappa had scored 660 runs in IPL 2014.
6- Like MS Dhoni, Delhi’s Vijay Shanker has remained not out in five consecutive innings – the most time by any batsman in IPL 2018.
7- This is the first time Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has failed to score 300 runs in a single season of IPL. Rohit Sharma has scored 286 runs in the ongoing season. His side was knocked out on Sunday.
8- On Sunday, 6 wickets were taken by the Delhi Daredevils spinners (three each by Amit Mishra and Sandeep Lamichanne) – the second highest number of wickets by spinners in a single match. Earlier, on 16 April, KKR spinners took seven wickets against Delhi Daredevils at Kolkata.
9- Mumbai has been beaten by Delhi 11 times in IPL – the same number of time it has seen defeat at the hand of Chennai Super Kings too.
