All eyes on voter turnout as Srinagar LS constituency goes to polls on Monday without boycott call
Of the three Lok Sabha constituencies in the Kashmir valley, Srinagar is the first to go to polls during the fourth phase of the election.
Two men were arrested for their alleged involvement in ‘terror activities and terror funding’ in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
According to the police, both have been booked (FIR No. 50/2018) at the Awantipora police station.
The accused have been identified as Rafiq Ahmad Dar and Abid Majeed, both residents of Awantipora town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Further investigations are on to find out how deeply they were involved.
Meanwhile, six individuals who were intending to join militancy were counselled with family members and later handed over to their parents.
