Bad weather forces Rahul to cancel Almora rally, return to Delhi
Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's Almora rally was cancelled on Thursday owing to bad weather conditions in the Kumaon region.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday called on President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here.
“I had a wonderful meeting with President Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan,” Rahul Gandhi later tweeted.

The meeting came a day after the President hosted “At Home” reception on the Rashtrapati Bhavan lawns on the 69th Republic Day on Friday.
