Among many vibrant balloons, Reddy wrote her wish ‘Happy Birthday Ashwini :)’ on a balloon in the centre.
The women’s doubles pair of Ponnappa and Reddy will face Korean third-seeded duo of Chang Ye Na and Lee So Hee.
Besides this, Reddy will partner Pranaav Jerry Chopra as well in the mixed doubles event, where they will meet fifth-seeded Thai pair of Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai in the opening round.
