Delhi witnesses strong surface winds, rain at several places
Several parts in the city also witnessed rain with the strong winds, the regional meteorological centre said in its bulletin.
It was a cloudy Friday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season’s average.
The MeT has predicted light rains.
“Very light rains or thundershowers or drizzle are likely to occur,” an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 am was 82 per cent.
The maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 33.1 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average, while the minimum temperature settled at 24.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average.
