Two Army personnel were electrocuted in the 3 Advance Base Workshop at Udhampur on late Monday night.
Both reportedly died on the spot due to the electric shock.

The deceased soldiers have been identified, P Jaipal Reddy of Anantpur district in Andhra Pradesh and Vasudevan of district Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu.

The postmortem was conducted in the military hospital on Tuesday, said sources.

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi reviewed the operational preparedness of the Army's Fire and Fury Corps in Ladakh on Saturday and took stock of the prevailing security situation and measures to strengthen surveillance, mobility and combat capabilities along the strategic frontier.
The Army chief also honoured veterans for their distinguished service to society, ex-servicemen and local communities.
