India retaliates to cross-LoC fire, 5 Pak soldiers killed: Army

At least five Pakistani soldiers were reportedly killed and six others were injured in retaliatory fire by the Indian Army in Bhimber and Battal sectors of Jammu and Kashmir, Army sources said.

Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the LoC in Rajouri and Poonch districts by resorting to heavy mortar shelling and the Army retaliated, sources said.

Meanwhile, Pakistan foreign office has summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh over the firing on the LoC.
