Two messages posted by an unconfirmed Islamic State (IS or ISIS)  handle on Twitter had predicted the Manchester Arena blast four hours before actual incident.

The Twitter handle @owys663 posted, “#ISLAMICSTATE #manchesterarena #UK #British ARE YOU FORGET OUR THREAT ? THIS IS THE JUST TERROR (Sic.).” Another tweet from the same account posted “#manchester arena” with an image.

The tweets were posted at around 6.24 p.m., and the blast took place at around 10.35 p.m. (local time). The account was later suspended but screenshots of the posts took the social media by storm.

The explosion took place at the Manchester Arena where singer Ariana was performing when a suicide bomber blew himself up minutes after the event came to a close.

Following the blast at American pop singer Ariana Grande’s concert, the Islamic State (IS or ISIS) supporters took to Twitter to celebrate the incident that claimed as many as 22 lives and left 59 injured.

Though no organisation has claimed responsibility of the blast, the Manchester Police are treating it as a ‘terrorist incident’.
