Barcelona’s club doctor Ricard Pruna said on Wednesday that he was hopeful that Carles Puyol would be fit to start pre-season training after the defender had a cyst removed from his knee. Blake pulls out
Injury concerns have forced double Olympic silver medallist Yohan Blake to pull out of the Jamaica National Senior Championship scheduled to begin on Thursday. Manager Cubie Seegobin says the Jamaican sprinter has not fully recovered from a hamstring injury he suffered in April to run the 200m rounds this week. Blake is expected to concentrate his efforts on defending his 100 m title at this summer’s World Championships in Moscow.

India will start their five match One-Day Internationals series against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club on 24 July.
